social distortion

I had the opportunity last night to see Social-D for the second time. They were playing at the Anaheim House Of Blues. The venue is pretty cool….right in downtown Disney. It had a nice small-club atmosphere. They had multiple bars open to serve the drunkards.

In addition to my wife and myself, we had my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. I think my mother-in-law summed it up best….“they are as good as they were 20 years ago.”

They absolutely rocked. I’ve been out of the concert scene for a while and this show was a great way to get back into it.

They took the stage with two accoustic guitars, a bass, and an accordion. They played three or four songs this way….how cool was that?

If you haven’t seen them before, I highly recommend you get out and see them before they decide they’ve had enough and retire.
