yup…been busy

It’s been a month to the day since I’ve written anything. I’ve been a bit busy as of late with holidays, visiting Dave in the hospital, working late, and just life in general.

Laura and I got a Christmas tree this year for the first time. I’ve been telling her that fake Christmas trees don’t really seem like Christmas to me, so she basically said “prove it” and, to make a long story short, we now have a 6′ tall douglass fir in our living/dining room. I think we got a pretty good deal…it was $30 at a local tree lot. Our house now smells very much like Christmas to me.

Been busy at work (like normal). I’ve been bringing a new addition to our team up to speed on publishing so that I can start to move on to other stuff. I’ve been picking up a lot of the slack from the reporting team as of late and have been trying to build a new web tracking system since they can’t seem to provide our marketing team with the data that they need.
